How does storing my items work?

With Fellow, storing your items is easy and stress-free. Our on-demand storage service allows you to reserve storage space for your items on our website. Once you have reserved your space, you can then schedule a pickup for your items at a time that works for you. Our professional movers will come straight to your location, whether it's in your dorm room or apartment, and help you with the heavy lifting.

All your items will then be safely stored in our secure facilities. You can recall your items with just a click of a button on our website at the end of the summer, and we'll deliver them back to you. Fellow takes the hassle out of storage so you can focus on your studies and enjoy your summer break.

02 – Pickup

How can I schedule a pickup?

You can schedule a pick-up by clicking on the "book now" button at the top of the page. This will take you through an order process where you fill out the items that will be stored and your pick-up information. Please note that pick-ups only occur at the end of the school year, and drop-offs only occur at the end of the summer. If you have any extenuating circumstances and will need your items earlier, please contact us right away.

What is a curbside pickup?

A way to save money by planning in advance! A curb-side pick-up is the choice for you if you are on a budget and can organize all your items into one spot (preferably the lobby of your building) and disassemble any large furniture you may have (bedframes). Our professional Fellows will still load your items onto the moving truck and take photos for your digital storage unit.

How should I prepare for a curbside pickup?

Packing typically takes longer than expected. We recommend that you have all your items packed and ready to go the night before! Then when you receive a text message that your fellows are on their way, move them into the lobby or next to your front door.

What is an on-demand pickup?

An on-demand pick-up is when our Fellows will come into your apartment and take care of the heavy lifting for you. This is a great option if you have heavy boxes or bulky furniture you won't be able to move.

How do I prepare for an on-demand pickup?

An on-demand pickup is charged at an hourly rate, so the more prepared you are, the more you can save! We recommend that you have your items organized and have a clear plan of what is going to be stored before our Fellows arrive.

How do I know my Fellows have arrived?

Your Fellows will send you a text message or phone call both approximately 30 minutes before arriving and when they arrive.

How should I pack fragile items?

Can my movers come at a specific time?

Fellow offers all of its customers a 4 hour time-window to choose from. These periods are from 8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm, 4pm-8pm. If you need a specific time don’t hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to accommodate!

Can I fill my furniture and suitcases with items?

One of my items is damaged or missing, what do I do?
